If you ever wondered what would happen if you took a pee wee league quarterback and threw him into the NFL, now you know.
Barack Obama had no business being on the stage with Mitt Romney. A four year figment of the liberal imagination, it took just ninety minutes for the myth of Obama to disintegrate before sixty-five million viewers. The Marxist had no clothes and conservatives were finally treated to a humiliation of our forty-fourth President that he so richly deserved.
Immediately afterwards, a staggered media could only muster this question: was Obama off his game?
No. Obama was not off his game. Obama has no game. He never did. A concoction of nothingness, the President has floated through life as the cover boy for Far-Left pseudo intellectualism. He got into Harvard through the back door. Putzed around for a year as a state Senator. Spent some time as a guest professor at the University of Chicago where he developed a reputation amongst the established professors as being lazy, undisciplined, and ignorant. Rabble roused as a sort of Diet Pepsi version of Al Sharpton in the streets of south Chicago. And then culminated his experiences into a couple of ham handed, semi-true autobiographies.
This was the Left’s superhero.
A terrifying joke. A terrifying disaster.
And Americans had long past reached their breaking point trying to cope with this man.
So had Romney.
Within the first three minutes of Wednesday’s night debate, the Republican nominee let moderator, Jim Lehrer, know that his liberal services weren’t going to be needed as he swept the President’s designated protector aside and brilliantly set about deconstructing Obama as the greatest hoax ever played on the United States.
Conservatives have longingly reminisced over the 1980 Reagan/Carter debate for the past thirty years.
We could be talking about Romney’s performance for the next century.
The beauty of what happened though goes far beyond the dismantling of Obama. The President is just a bumper sticker. A hollow man carrying the banner of a fraudulent ideology. It is this ideology, liberalism, that was humiliated Wednesday night in a way never before seen by the masses. Sure, radio talk show hosts such as Rush, Hannity, and Mark Levin offer a daily contrast to the Left’s media minions – a people one part human, two parts paper mache. But talk radio – and even the FOX network – is a constricted outlet. Ninety-seven percent of the time preaching to the conservative choir. Liberals can duck these venues with ease.
But on Wednesday night there was nowhere to hide.
Liberals were forced to watch a cheery, laser focused Romney as he smashed apart their ivory tower with a Thor sized hammer of facts, optimism, and American conservatism.
Obama had no chance.
And this leads to the shrill, shell shocked reaction of the media.
To the true believers, Obama’s scowling ineptitude was blasphemous. How could this man, this deity, betray those who’d so devotedly shielded him from the big bad world during his entire 2008 campaign and presidency? He owed them a better effort than this didn’t he? Didn’t he?!
He sure did.
But Obama couldn’t do any better. A reality lost on the smarmy school children who masquerade as news people at our nations finest propaganda machines. The Rachel Maddows, Chris Matthews, Jon Stewarts, and Ed Schultzs of the world have no idea why Obama put up such a sorry fight.
Why do they have no idea?
Because these people have no clue how anything actually works.
‘The forty-seven percent! The forty-seven percent! For the love of God! Why didn’t Obama just bring up the forty-seven percent?!’
What the media can’t grasp – nor any other liberal on this planet – is that while the forty-seven percent shtick – as well as the dogmatic mantras of ’Republicans hate women’, ’Republicans hate the environment’, and ‘Republicans are racist’ – works wonderfully when the argument is completely controlled, the phony narrative blows up when faced against an intelligent, gutsy, real live human being.
Obama’s camp knew this.
And they also knew that Romney would have swatted away a class warfare attack as easily as he did everything else Obama stuttered in his general direction (the President never made eye contact so who knows who he was actually talking to). Obama’s hard Left handlers are well aware that Mitt doesn’t hate forty-seven percent of America. And accusing Romney of this in the debate would not only have given the Governor an excellent opportunity to repudiate the nonsense but most likely the chance to turn the tactic against Obama (such as bringing up Barack’s propensity to give race hate speeches prior to being elected), embarrassing an already embarrassed President even further.
Liberals don’t get stuff like this though.
And as confused as they are about Obama’s sudden oratorical impotency, they would be even more slack jawed if you tried to explain to them that everything they believe in is complete garbage in the first place.
The liberal mind is made up of caricatures. Everything they think they know about conservatives and every delusion they have about themselves is based on their insatiable compulsion to feel good (this is one of the focuses in my upcoming book, The 7 Stumbling Blocks of the Liberal Mind). It is a desperate and fantastical world that liberals live in and it requires two things: one, a belief system (Republicans are racist, sexist, mean, homophobic, stupid, hate children,…etc), and two, if not a god, then an absolute ruler. A twenty-first century pharaoh.
There is no way to reason with ninety-five percent of these people.
But a significant amount can be stunned into a temporary mental paralysis. And since there is zero substance to any of their convictions – or to their bizarre attraction towards their current master – there is a possibility that an Obama forced to repeatedly revert to his natural ugly self will at least lull a percentage of liberals into not voting.
But this is all speculation.
Election Day is what counts and it’s going to take a bright light to burn through the dark fairy tale that is Barack Obama. As of now, it appears Mitt Romney is that light. Our modern Reagan.
Will it be enough to win?
Unknown.
But the more Romney exposes President Obama for what he truly is, the better the chance we have of saving this country. You can only lie for so long before the lies start coming back to haunt you. And you can only flip flop between personas so many times before even the dopiest independents decide they don’t know who you are.
Romney made an example out of Obama in the first debate.
And conservatives took a giant step towards stripping liberalism of its religious aura, retaking the White House, and sending an Alinskyite radical back to those shady streets of south Chicago.
Now that’s hope and change.
